The former Big Brother Titans star, Blue Aiva, became the subject of scathing criticism after a video surfaced on Twitter showcasing her performing at a club.
The footage show her trying to enchant the crowd by exposing her body in an extremely short dress; to her horror, nobody was interested in her flaunting.
Blue Aiva, who had gone to the club to DJ, made it upon herself to take to the floor and show off some dance moves.
But her get-up, which showed her pants, brought up more criticism than applause. The video quickly made its way onto Twitter, and South Africans did not spare their words.

The actions of her were very condemned by many users on the platform, one tweet came reading;..
‘DJ’s used to woe the crowd with music not half-nakedness. Glad the crowd mizzed her.”
“She is selling umdidi, not music.”
“Is this not Blue from the last Big Brother ft Mzansi ft Nigerians. The one that said she has a song with Nyovest?”
This has triggered a more significant discussion about DJs’ role and how that line is so fine between performance and provocation.
While the actions of Blue Aiva might have been performed for entertainment, this backlash seems to allude that many felt she was being far more inappropriate than engaging.
