Boateng on Messi’s nutmeg: I’ll get some popcorn and watch the 2014 World Cup final

May 6, 2020, marked five years to the day since Lionel Messi famously nutmegged Jerome Boateng during Barcelona’s Champions League semi-final tie against Bayern Munich, but the German defender has reacted to the anniversary in a funny manner.

Many people chose to interact with Boateng to try and provoke a reaction, and they succeeded, although the centre-back will feel like he had the last laugh.
