Ghanaian chef Ebenezar Smith, popularly known as Chef Smith, has been duly recognized as the new title holder of the longest cook-a-thon by Guinness World Records with an impressive time of 802 hours and 25 minutes.

Chef Smith beat the previous record by over 600 hours, showcasing his dedication and passion for cooking. His achievement has brought international attention to Ghanaian cuisine and culture.

He made the announcement of his new record by Guinness World Record for longest Cook-a-thon via press conference and showed his certification  to Ghanaians. The exciting news is all over social media, and he’s been celebrated online by thousands of Ghanaians.

He took advantage of the opportunity to express his gratitude to the Ghanaians who came to support him during the cooking journey. To everyone who visited in person and to everyone who raised awareness on social media while he was cooking.
