In a recent interview on Atinka FM, National Deputy Director of the NDC’s Traders and Artisans Network, Mr. Bright Botchway, called on Ghanaians to rise and demand better leadership. He directed sharp criticism at Vice President Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, noting that despite being part of the npp for the past 16 years, both in opposition and in government Bawumia has failed to address the critical challenges facing the country.
Botchway expressed particular concern over the government’s disregard for the youth, questioning Dr. Bawumia’s recent promise to create 4 million jobs. “He has been in a position to act for years, yet the youth have been neglected,” Botchway said. He called the promise of jobs unrealistic given the administration’s track record.
He further urged Ghanaians to unite and work together to remove what he described as “ineffective leaders” and replace them with serious-minded individuals committed to real progress and John Mahama is the best person to change Ghana. “Let’s unite and work together to remove this group of ineffective leaders from government. It’s time to replace them with serious, committed individuals who are ready to bring real change and progress to our nation,” he emphasized.
Botchway’s remarks are part of a growing call for accountability and leadership change as the nation looks toward the next election, with many citizens voicing similar frustrations with the current government’s performance.
