2020: I’ll publicly strip naked – female NDC parliamentary aspirant threatens

Lucy Anim Koryo , a parliamentary aspirant of the party in Suhum constituency of the Eastern Region has threatened to do the unthinkable in 2020 by stripping naked if dared by the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP’s) candidate who is the incumbent, Hon Fredrick Opare Ansah.

The candidate disclosed that the Suhum seat is traditionally for the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) but the NPP managed to take it and it is making it one of its preserves promising to change it when elected as the party’s candidate.

“I fear the party primaries more than the general elections. Opare Ansah’s own tricks will be used to defeat him in the 2020 polls. If he shows his chest I will strip naked and show my private part to the world.  2020 elections is not about gentility if it is not about gentility…if it demands we play it gently, I will and if it means we should be rowdy I am more that prepared in that department”, she disclosed.

Lucy Anim Koryo has to battle two other female aspirants – Amanda Okyere and Mercy Ago – also contesting to get the nod of NDC delegates in Suhum to be their Parliamentary Candidate.

But she is optimistic that the other two will not be able to match up to her since she is more experience and is the only person who has what it takes to beat the incumbent and consolidate the gains of candidate John Dramani Mahama in 2020.
