NPP and NDC Supporters in Bloody Clash, Many Injured [PHOTOS]

The incident occurred during the hearing of Defamation Suit against the NDC Parliamentary Candidate for the area Dr. James Kofi Annan by the Incumbent MP Hon Alexander Afenyo Markin after the Parliamentary candidate alleged that the MP has connived with the Police in Winneba to falsely implicate him a Ghc100,000 theft case ostensibly to affect his chances of contesting him in the 2020 parliamentary election.


According to reports, dozens of supporters of both NDC and NPP trooped to the court premises during the hearing but ended up attacking each other with sticks, chains, and clubs resulting in injuries of many.
The swift intervention by Police helped to bring the situation under control.
