C/R: The Effutu Shepherd Announces free Surgical operations for Hernia and Fibriod patients

Member of Parliament for Effutu Constituency, Hon. Alexander Afenyo Markin, popularly known as “the Effutu Shepherd” has announced another initiative for the good people living with some medical condition such as Fibroid and Hernia for free Surgical operation in the Effutu Constituency.

The Deputy Majority Leader officially asked Dr Bota , the Medical Superintendent at the Municipal hospital-Winneba and Dr. Prah of the Trauma and Specialized Hospital-Winneba to foresee that everyone battling with such medical conditions should be treated and operated for free.

It will be recalled that, the legislature has recently donated over one million Ghana cedis for the screening and  treatment  of Hepatitis B and has contracted Mumbies Foundation Ghana, to spearhead that project which was dubbed Hepaguard under the theme, “Safeguarding Liver, Empowering Lives” in the in the Effutu constituency which is still ongoing.

According to the lawmaker, it is part of his yearly health support to his constituents by healing his people, transforming lives against HERNIA AND FIBROID struggles is another dream come true.

The deputy majority leader in Parliament stated that, “I have instructed all the Assembly members in the constituency to enlist all those who are suffering from the mentioned diseases and submit to the doctors in charge of the operations.”

The Effutu Shepherd noted that, “this exercise would be free, and all expenses and treatment will be given to all the patients for free”.
