C/R:NDC Chair Prof.Richard Asiedu Pledges to Prioritize Agona Nyakrom Development with New District Status.

Professor Richard Asiedu, the central Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has vowed to prioritize Agona Nyakrom’s development during the campaign launch for Mrs. Ernestina Ofori Dangbey, Agona West parliamentary candidate.

Speaking on October 20, 2024, Professor Asiedu expressed disappointment at the area’s long-standing neglect and promised to upgrade infrastructure and public services.

He announced plans to elevate Agona Nyakrom to a district status, unlocking additional resources and catalyzing local development.

He indicated that he’s committed to fully operationalizing the university built during a previous NDC administration, meeting the region’s educational needs. His promises followed Mrs. Ofori Dangbey’s launch of initiatives targeting local growth, job creation, and economic empowerment. Emphasizing Agona Nyakrom’s development as a top priority, Professor Asiedu urged residents to support the NDC’s transformative agenda for governance in 2025.
