CalBank 2021 Golf Championship records huge patronage

The 2021 edition of CalBank Open Golf Championship ended on Saturday 18th September 2021 with over 167 golfers participating in the event.

The event which was held at the Achimota Golf Course recorded huge patronage compared to last years’s event.

The managing Director of CalBank Mr. Philip Owiredu in his address said that the event which recorded huge participants showed the importance of the Golf championship.

He added “Our vision is to make this competition the biggest golf competition in the country and we hope that in the future, we will have several other players from within the sub-region coming in to play with us”.

Among the notable surprises was the addition by CFAO who provided a Suzuki vehicle as a prize for any golfer that made a hole-in-one.

However, the car remained unclaimed as no golfer was able to make the hole-in-one.
