Chief gives suspected driver one week ultimatum to return his car else..

The Ntsen-tsere Mantse of the Nungua traditional area, Nii Afotey Ogolon II, has given one week ultimatum to his driver to return his car, Daf truck else face his wrath.

According to the worried Nii Afotey Ogolon ll, his driver, a suspect, allegedly parked the car somewhere under the pretext that he was sick and that he was going to his hometown for medical attention.

He continues that, the driver, identified as Christian Frimpong subsequently moved the parked car and has since gone into hiding, thus after he had lied that he was traveling to the village for medical treatment.

He said, all efforts to reach the suspect has since proven futile. The most serious part of his ordeal is that, the case which was subsequently reported to the Tema police station has seen no effort by the police.

He blamed the police for their failure to show concern for the case he reported to them.

He has therefore entreated the suspect to return the car for his own good else nobody should blame him, Nii Afotey Ogolon upon seeing any consequences on the thief.

“His inaction has really affected my living, and one thing that only sustained me is the fact I am a chief and a leader of a group of persons. This is a car that is used to carry goods for business purposes. I don’t know why a whole driver who used to enjoy huge from this service would steal the car.

He also called on the general public to help him trace his car together with the thief driver. Suspected to be at Aflao and its environs, the car is a Daf truck with registration number GR 2628-22.
