Common Mistakes That May Increase Your Risk Of Getting Sick

There are common mistakes even healthy people make that may increase the chances of getting sicknesses. According to WebMD, research have shown that a lot of things most people do are the major causes of diseases.

Based on infomation provided by WebMD we want to highlight some common mistakes that are causing diseases:

1. Not taking enough sleep.

Sleep is very important for good health but most people seem not to know. Many people sacrifice sleep to watch movies or even make night calls.

Sleeping enables your body to repair its cells. This is the process that keeps us healthy.

2. Not drinking enough water.

WebMD and Healthline recommends starting your day with a glass of water. The major component of the blood is water and we loose water in many bodily activities. So when you drink you rehydrate your system and keep your blood moving.

3. Sitting too much.

Many jobs today require that we sit down for many hours. This is actually not good for our health. Some people also sit or lay down for hours just to watch movies. No matter what you are sitting down to do, research says that it is putting your health at great risk.

Researchers recommends that you break the sitting episode after 30 minutes or one hour by standing up, before you get back again. This will help your system to feel better.

4. Cleaning with hydrogen peroxide or alcohol.

Most people proudly clean any minor bruises in their body with either hydrogen peroxide or alcohol. This is not healthy. The best liquid to stay on your body is water.

5. Avoiding vaccines.

Many people avoid taking vaccines. This is a serious and common mistake that is putting their health at great risk. Vaccines were manufactured to help us prevent diseases. We should take them to reduce our risk of getting some diseases.
