Conor McGregor announces retirement from UFC at 31

UFC champion, Conor McGregor says he has retired from fighting at the age of 31.

Conor McGregor, the Ireland former two-weight UFC champion has a record of 22 wins and four defeats.

This is the third time in four years that McGregor has announced his retirement. He previously made thesame announcement in 2016 and 2019 before twice returning to the octagon.

The mixed martial arts fighter took to his social media page to make this announcement on Sunday morning. He wrote;

Hey guys I’ve decided to retire from fighting.
Thank you all for the amazing memories! What a ride it’s been!
Here is a picture of myself and my mother in Las Vegas post one of my World title wins!

Whatever you desire it’s yours ❤️
