COVID-19: Savannah region records first cases as total jumps to 6,683

The Savannah region is the latest to record a new case of COVID-19 in the latest update provided by the Ghana Health Service through its website.

This brings the number of regions with recorded cases to 14 out of sixteen with the Bono East and Ahafo Regions yet to join in the league.

Ghana’s case count now stands at 6,683 with 32 patients dead as a result of the infection.

Recovered patients according to the Ghana Health Service update are 1,998.

Greater Accra continues to be the region with the highest number of infections.
