59yr old NVTI staff killed by robbers in Takoradi

A 59-year-old man believed to be an employee of NVTI has been shot dead by suspected robbers Saturday dawn.

The suspects allegedly robbed him of his valuables at his private residence at Anaji Queen.

The incident has thrown residents in the area in grief and fear as most are concerned over their own safety now.

When contacted, District Police Commander, for Kwesimintsim, Supt Peter Lennox Aidoo told Empire News’ Emmanuel Ohene-Gyan that the police are yet to visit the scene to ascertain the facts of the matter.
