Another suspect ARRESTED over kidnapped Takoradi girls

MyNewsGh.com has confirmed the arrest of a third suspect in connection with the kidnapping of the three Takoradi girls.

The suspect only identified as Chika is alleged to have played a key role in the whole crime and arrived in Koforidua on July 29, 2019.

Information had it that he left for Takoradi three hours after arrival to monitor court proceedings of the trial of suspects at the last sitting but has since been arrested by the police.

According to police sources, he was the one assigned to monitor and reports events to their ‘masters’ in Nigeria and appeared very slippery.

This brings to three the number of suspects arrested in connection with the crime after suspects Samuel Udoetuk Mills and John Oji.

Ruth Quayson, Priscilla Blessing Bentum and Priscilla Koranchie believed to have been kidnapped between August 2018 and January 2019 and have since not been found.

Chief mastermind of the act, Samuel Udoetuk-Wills a Nigerian was jailed recently but is still facing other charges before Takoradi Magistrate Court after he escaped from jail in December 2018 following his first arrest.

On Friday August 2, 2019 police in a special operation retrieved human parts from a septic tank at his former home which is being sent to the forensic lap for further investigation.
