T’di kidnappings: Third suspect arrested in Nigeria

A third suspect has been arrested in connection with the kidnapping of the three Takoradi girls, online news portal mynewsgh.com has reported.

The suspect, identified as Chika, is alleged to have played a key role in the whole crime and arrived in Koforidua on July 29, 2019.

Information had it that he left for Takoradi three hours after he arrived in Ghana to monitor court proceedings of the trial of suspects at the last sitting but has since been arrested by the police.

According to police sources, he was the one assigned to monitor and reports events to their ‘masters’ in Nigeria and appeared very slippery.

This brings to three the number of suspects arrested in connection with the crime after suspects Samuel Udoetuk Mills and John Oji.
