VIDEO: 16-year-old jailed 25 years for stealing GHS10 finally gets help

16-year-old Abdallah Mohammed has finally gotten help from some benevolent individuals after his pathetic story of being thrown into jail for stealing GHS10.

It would be recalled that MyNewsGh.com reported that Mohammed Abdallah was arrested and jailed for 25 for a crime he claimed knew nothing about.

According to him, he was jailed because of a group of young men accused him of stealing GHC 10 from them; a crime he swore by his life he knows nothing about. Although he maintains there was no evidence to convict him, the trial Judge handed him 25 years jail term.

But in a recent video seen on SVTV Africa monitored by MyNewsGh.com, the channel that discovered his story, the young man has been gifted with GHC 2,000, a new apartment and an opportunity to be a professional barber as he wish.

Speaking after he being handed these and the big opportunity, Abdallah father of Nurudeen Mohammed said “I was happy he has been released. If you don’t have the strength and someone helps, you should be happy. We never thought it would get to him being jailed”.

He used the opportunity to thank benevolent Ghanaians and called on them to continue to provide for people to make the country a better place.

On his part, Abdallah said “I am grateful for being a benefactor of their kindness. God bless them for helping me out. Little by little, I am praying to get more than this”.
