Davido loses son in swimming pool mishap at Lagos mansion

Nigerian Afrobeats star, David Adeleke, alias Davido has been hit by the death of his young three-year-old son, Ifeanyi, on Monday evening, October 31, 2022.

Ifeanyi was said to have drowned in a swimming pool at the singer’s residence in the Banana Island area of Lagos State, media reports said.

The incident went viral on social media but was temporarily dispelled as a rumour, until late Monday when the media confirmed it.

Ifeanyi was the son of the musician and girlfriend, Chioma Rowland.

Nigerians and Davido fans across the world have been sending condolences to the couple as have showbiz personalities in Africa’s most populous country.
