Deputy Minister of Local Government slams Bosomefreho DCE over ‘I’m dead’ comment

Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development, Augustine Collins Ntim has described comment by the District Chief Executive (DCE) of Bosome-freho as unfair.

According to him, the action of the DCE does not promote unity and development.

The District Chief Executive (DCE) for Bosomefreho in the Ashanti Region, Hon. Yaw Danso has declared himself dead. This comes after Assembly Members in the district made complaints in the media that Mr. Danso has not been active in the office he holds.

In response to a question posed by the reporter, the DCE responded “They (Assembly Members) say I’m nowhere to be found? ooh! I’m dead”. Tell them I’m dead,” He told the female reporter on the phone.

Speaking in an interview monitored by Ghanaweb.Mobi, the Member of Parliament for Offinso North constituency  stated that he received the information as a shock.

” It is unfair, I couldn’t believe he said that but later I realized that it is true and this is below the belt, I will personally visit the constituency to ensure that things are properly done” Hon. Collins Ntim stated.

He assured the assembly members to exercise constraint since the ministry will ensure that all their grievances are resolved.
