Disregard reports that I’ve been rushed to the hospital – Obour

Former MUSIGA President, Bice Osei Kuffour known in showbiz as Obour says reports suggesting that he has been rushed to the 37 Military Hospital is false.

There were reports that Obour was not well and has been rushed to the 37 Military hospital.

But in a tweet debunking the story, Obour asked that the story is false and should be treated with the contempt it deserves.

The former MUSIGA President said “Please disregard news making rounds on social media that I have been rushed to 37 Military Hospital. It’s totally false. I am very fit and staying safe so don’t pay attention to it. Treat it with all the contempt it deserves”.

Obour came under attacks after he lost his father some weeks ago.

According to officials at the Greater Accra Regional hospital, Obour put the life of their staff in danger by not informing them that he had travel history and had tested for COVID-19.

His father subsequently died and although there’s no report indicating that he dies of COVID-19, it was concluded that COVID-19 killed him.

However, staff of the hospital and other members of Obour’s family who came into close contact with him [Obour’s father ] were tested and the test came out negative but the hospital is yet to release a report on what exactly killed Obour’s father.
