Dormaahene Criticizes Asantehene, Vows to Prioritize His People Over Properties

The Chief, Osagyefo Oseadeeyo Dr. Agyemang Badu II (Dormaahene ), has registered his discontent with the utterances of the Asantehene, including recent remarks where the Asantehene called some Bono chiefs violent.

In response, Dormaahene demanded he was interested in the welfare of his people; hence, he would never hire private jets or buy properties abroad while his people suffer in abject poverty and distress.

For three years now, Dormaahene has spoken on matters affecting the Asantehene and Asanteman, with no one responding to him. Of late, an invitation to attend a funeral at which the Asantehene was to attend was withdrawn.

That has not deterred Dormaahene from continuing to say even more, and is a sure way of proving that he stands by his people and being a leader.
