The drama has already gotten hot on the Big Brother Naija Season 9 house between Shaun, Victoria and Wanni, as unresolved issues from the outside world spew into the reality show.
The man of the season, Shaun finds himself in a brewing conflict with Victoria, a rumoured ex-girlfriend, and Wanni, who seemed to be his current girlfriend in the house.
According to Wanni one of the twins, Victoria approached her, explaining that she had heard some things that is troubling her and want to clarify their situation.
Wanni narrating to Shaun stated that Victoria during the conversation seemed not happy about her closeness with him—that is to say, she was telling her her relationship with Shaun wasn’t quite over as so many had thought. “I just wanted to clarify,” Victoria apparently said, making it clear she wasn’t happy about Wanni and Shaun’s budding romance, she added.
This confrontation is, however, confirming the speculation that Shaun and Victoria had a relationship before entering into this season of Big Brother Naija where they came in, in pairs.
Fans outside the house are rife with speculations, convinced that there could be elements of truth in the rumours of their past relationship.
The mystery only thickened since Shaun entered the house. Although Shaun is Victoria’s partner in the house, he has been keeping his distance, acting awkwardly with her, almost like strangers. Instead, he has moved closer to Wanni and her sister Hanndi, raising eyebrows and stirring the pot even further.
Clearly, Victoria and Shaun have not sat down to talk through unresolved issues, which were pretty obviously brought into the BBNaija house.
The tension between these two can literally be felt, and their failure to resolve issues of the past is now first affecting not just their interactions but also the dynamics in the house.
As weeks go by, everybody is on their toes to see how this love triangle unfolds. Will Victoria and Shaun finally clear the air, or will Wanni’s relationship with Shaun continue straining under the weight of their past? One thing’s for sure—the drama is nowhere near over and keeps people at the edge of their seats.
