E/R: 50 pupils in accident, one dead

Over 50 pupils have been involved in an accident at Akyem Asikasu off the Adeiso-Asamankese road in the Eastern Region.

One child has been confirmed dead.

The accident happened Sunday night.

Forty others who sustained serious injuries have been taken to the Asamankese Government Hospital for treatment.

The cause of the accident is not immediately known but Dr Ayarkwa of the Asamankese Government Hospital confirmed the incident to Class News.
