E/R: Man, 98 killed in fire outbreak in Oframase

A 98-year-old man is reported to have been burnt to death in a fire outbreak at Oframase, a community near Nkawkaw in the Eastern Region.

Officials of the National Disaster Management Organization (NADMO) who visited the scene said that the man who stayed alone could not have been killed by the fire because he died 12:00pm the previous day before the fire outbreak which occurred at 3:30 am.

The fire outbreak is suspected to have been caused by an electrical fault.

The Police have been informed about the incident and efforts are in place to find relatives of the deceased at Kwahu Bepong.
