Ebola Alert: GMA Warns Against Virus Resurgence in Ghana

The Ghana Medical Association (GMA) has urged the Ghanaian public on the resurgence of the Ebola virus after confirmed cases were reported in Guinea and Nigeria.

The GMA in a letter dated February 15, 2021, cautioned the public of their lifestyle as 7 cases of the virus confirmed by sister country Guinea on February 14.

In the letter, the association also called on all regional and district health stakeholders to prepare to swiftly respond to the Ebola Virus Disease should it struck Ghana.
