Muslims across Ghana celebrated Eid-Al-Fitr on May 3 with great zeal and enthusiasm. The day started with the President of the Republic of Ghana, Nana Akufo Addo extending his greetings and well wishes on this occasion to all Muslims. In this Tweet, he asks Allah to protect and bless all Ghanaians.

Ramadan Bash

Citi FM & Citi TV through the Citi FM Foundation organized a Ramadan Bash for less privileged children within the Adabraka Muslim Community. The fanfare took place at the Adabraka Mosque. In addition, Imane Ouaadil, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Morocco to Ghana, celebrated the Eid and end of the Holy month of Ramadan with the children and pensioners of the Potter’s Village orphanage house in Dodowa, in the Greater Accra Region of Ghana.

As this is a special day in the Islamic calendar, many Muslims celebrate in their best clothes.
