I invested ¢400,00 in my ‘Faith Concert’ but I didn’t gain any profit – Shatta Wale laments

Dancehall diva m,Shatta Wale has lamented that he made no monetary profit out the just ended ‘Faith concert’ he organized in his house.

Speaking with Frimpong Adjei of Onua FM fame, the ‘bojor’ crooner stated that he held that particular party because he needed money to embark on some project but eventually, the thing didn’t turn on well with him.

Below is his reasons;

“Telecommunication companies in Ghana with higher tariffs must reduce their tariffs because all the monies that will come out of my Faith Concert are going into my charity projects. I’m just going to donate those monies and I have nothing to gain because I invested GH¢400,000 in my concert.”

Many Ghanaians were confused that despite the president’s ban, Shatta went ahead to organized a concert. Yes, it was possible with the help of technology, it was streamed online to thousands of Ghanaians on Saturday night.
