Top Kings owner, Kingsley Owusu- Achau has slapped a $48m suit against Ernesto Taricone, chairman of Empire Builders, owners of the Trasacco Group.
It emerged at the court on Tuesday, April 25, that the damage was as a result of the protracted legal tussle between the two real estate developers.
To the owner of Top Kings, the suit also covers damages caused by Empire Builders to properties belonging to the former.
At the Commercial Court 8, indications were that the legal battle between the two renowned estate developers is far from over .
The two parties have engaged in a protracted land litigation, spanning over two decades resulting in near lost of human lives.
Their actions have painted the two companies black among most Ghanaian communities.
Recently, one of their clashes stirred the Greater Accra Regional Minister Henry Quartey to declare a parcel of land the two were fighting over a security zone.
The case has been adjourned to May 12.
