Eto’o paid €1.23m to get Ronaldinho released from prison

It has been revealed by sources that Samuel Eto’o who is a long standing friend of legendary footballer Ronaldinho paid a total of about €1.37m to get him released from prison in Paraguay.

The Brazilian legend was arrested in Paraguay alongside his brother for entering the country with fake passports.

The Ballon D’Or winner spent almost a month in prison after been arrested on March 6.

The two enjoyed a good stint at Barcelona playing 116 games together and winning the UEFA Champions league.
