Eyes on the Ground: Vehicles submerged at Kasoa after Saturday’s downpour

Some drivers who were en route to Accra from Kasoa experienced an unexpected flash flood after Saturday evening’s heavy downpour which blocked one section of the road.

In a video sent to GhanaWeb by a motorist, some vehicles are seen struggling to use the road as they are almost submerged in the water.

For the fear of a possible worse outcome, some drivers began to make rather dangerous decisions by using unapproved routes to switch to the other side of the dual carriageway.

The rain which started around 4 pm Saturday subsided around 7:30 pm.
