Francis Owusu-Akyaw donates to Juaben SHS

The minerals expert and NPP parliamentary candidate for Juaben has presented two sets of musical instruments to Juaben Senior High School. 

 

This follows an appeal by the school to the office of the MP hopeful.

 

At a brief ceremony on campus, Mr Akyaw said he was happy to be giving back to his alma mater.

 

He noted that the school helped to shape him up for what he is currently doing in life.

 

He pledged to support all schools in the constituency when he gets the nod to represent same in Parliament.

 

ADMONITION:

The MP hopeful charged students to take their academic studies seriously while on campus.

 

He stated that the resolve to learn and become the best in school helped him to complete school with good grades.

 

This resolve, he noted depends on each of the students.

 

 

Mr Francis OWUSU-AKYAW, minerals expert and NPP parliamentary hopeful for Juaben with one of the items at the school assembly ground.

Mr Owusu-Akyaw thanked the school authorities for working hard to sustain the academic prowess and potentials of students at the ancient SHS.

 

“As students do your best with the opportunity you have here knowing very well that with good grades at this level the chance to enter the university to pursue further studies would be a formality”, the NPP parliamentary hopeful posited.

 

APPRECIATION:

Thanking the benefactor, Madam Josephine Mensah Opuni-Boachie, Headmistress of the school commended the former student for the gesture.

 

She said the musical instrument would aid the school to carry out rehearsals at worship time.

 

The drums, Madam Opuni-Boachie said would also help the school’s cadets carry out their activities with some sound behind their daily drills.

 

She urged other former students of the school to emulate the gesture of Mr Akyaw by providing things the school is in need of so that together they could make the school one of the choicest in the Ashanti Region.
