Women have been asked to be wary of some of these things they insert into their vaginas in the name of tightening them.
A Midwife at the Bolgatanga Municipal Health Directorate in the Upper East Region, Mary Azika who spoke on this advised against the use of these chemicals indicating that the vagina cleanses itself.
“People start inserting so many things into their vagina. We have people who go round communities to sell certain things for these young girls, these women, claiming that they want the vagina to be tight so that they can enjoy sex. It washes; the vagina doesn’t smell. If it is smelling then it means there is a problem. People start inserting things. I ever saw garlic in somebody’s vagina. Garlic that we eat” She exclaimed on Bolgatanga-based Dreamz FM.
She further indicated that the men are pushing women to be doing such things but noted that men who claim to love tight vaginas are ignorant about sex.
