Top 2 NDC MPs involved in a fatal car accident

Two leading minority Members of Parliament, Ahmed Ibrahim, and Muntaka Mubarak almost lost their lives in a near-fatal accident.

The NDC party members were on their way to a funeral in Sunyani when their SUV got involved in an accident.

According to reports, the SUV veered off the road and somersaulted several times before landing on one side of the road in an unbelievable manner.

There were no serious injuries at the scene.

Meanwhile, the Bono Deputy Communications Officer of the NDC, Eric Adjei in a statement has confirmed the accident but reveals they are responding to treatment.

HON. MUNTAKA AND HON. AHMED IBRAHIM ARE OKAY AND RESPONDING TO TREATMENT

Earlier today news of the minority chief whip and his deputy involving in a near-fatal accident was all over social media. It is with grateful heart that I wish to inform all well-wishers that the two Honorable members of parliament are fine and responding to treatment.

The members of parliament were driving from Accra for a funeral in Sunyani when their SUV got involved in an accident, they were rushed to the Komfo Anokye Teaching Hospital with their entourage (Police officers and Driver) earlier today.

The members of parliament and everybody on board is fine and doing very well, we are grateful for your prayers and we wish them speedy recovery.
