GH¢34.8m Worth PASCO: Few schools received their books; where is the money? – IEA Jabs GES and MoE

“Education is not the filling of a pail, but the lighting of a fire”.

My dear compatriots, I deem that the delays in the arrival of past questions for final year students will not impair the students.[tps_title][/tps_title]

The past questions which cost the nation over GHC34.8 million cedis and are inferred for final year students are yet to be distributed to most Senior High Schools meanwhile the examination commenced yesterday 16-08-2021.

Despite this, the Ministry of Education and the Ghana Education Service haven’t divulged to the public.

Honestly, the candidates can organize themselves for the exams without the past questions.

The uncertainty here is that where are the GH¢34.8 million cedis doled for the past questions?

Recommendation:
1. The government must find it necessary and address all issues confronting our education system.

2. Furthermore, Teachers are the pivot in education, so, the government must empower them to deliver remarkably.

3. The current UTAG’s strike actions are making a section of the industry deadlock. And, spending a lot on those who don’t even pay taxes and leaving those who do is discriminatory. Satisfy UTAG, please.

I am a concerned citizen of Ghana. Africa is born in me.

Signed.
