This remarkable achievement underscores the company’s unwavering commitment to sustainable operations, environmental stewardship, and the highest standards of health and safety in the energy sector.
The Acting Chief Executive Officer, Ing. Dr. Robert Kofi Lartey, expressed his immense pride and satisfaction in the company’s accomplishment, acknowledging the tireless efforts, dedication, and perseverance of staff, past and present management, and leadership. “These certifications underscore our unwavering commitment to conducting business responsibly while safeguarding the well-being of our employees and minimizing our environmental footprint. Ghana Gas embarked on its ISO certification journey in November 2019, navigating the complexities and challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic. Despite these obstacles, the company successfully secured ISO 45001 in April 2022 and expanded its scope to include ISO 14001 in early 2024, demonstrating its resilience, adaptability, and commitment to excellence.
Ghana Gas is now poised on the cusp of further excellence, pursuing ISO 9001 certification (Quality Management System) under the theme: “A Future of Excellence: Triple ISO Certification – Our Commitment to Quality, Environment, and Safety.” This milestone reaffirms Ghana Gas’ position as a trailblazer and industry leader, committed to best practices, environmental sustainability, and operational excellence, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement and excellence.
