Air marshals arrested a Ghanaian passenger who lives in the US and was on a Southwest flight after he tried to open a door while the plane was in the air.
She said that it was because “Jesus told her” to do it.
Elom Agbegninou, 34, was on a flight from Texas to Ohio on Saturday afternoon when flight attendants allegedly stopped her from getting to the emergency exit, which made her angry.
When another passenger tackled Agbegninou to stop her, she bit the person on the thigh and wouldn’t let go until the person forced their fingers into her mouth.
The crazy woman then started hitting her head on the floor of the plane, saying that “Jesus told her to fly to Ohio and Jesus told her to open the door,” according to documents released by the US District Court for the Eastern District of Arkansas on Monday.
According to the criminal complaint, Agbegninou will likely be charged with assault within maritime and territorial jurisdiction and interfering with flight crew members and attendants.
