A group in the Ashanti Region, known as the Rise Up Movement, has raised serious allegations against two prominent female members of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP).
In an interview with Ghanaweb, the group accused the two women—one a current minister and the other a former minister—of misusing state resources to indulge in personal relationships with younger men.
The group described this alleged misconduct as “chopping our small boys with state money.”
According to the group’s leader, they possess video evidence that substantiates their claims. One of the videos purportedly shows a current minister in a hotel with a young man, while another features the former minister engaging in what the group described as “phone foreplay” with her lover.
The Rise Up Movement stated its intention to release the footage as part of its efforts to demand accountability from government officials.
They are urging citizens to remain vigilant and to demand a thorough investigation into the alleged misuse of public funds.
The group has called on authorities to take immediate action to investigate the claims, emphasizing that such behavior, if true, undermines public trust and misuses taxpayer money.
As this controversy unfolds, the group’s revelations will sparked public discourse.
The outcome of these allegations, if substantiated, could have significant political ramifications for the individuals involved and the NPP at large.
