Headteacher and Staff of Gomoa Nsuaem D/A Basic School distributes Free Exercise Books To Students

Mr Harrison Kwame Wolanyo Aglago who is the Headteacher of Gomoa Nsuaem and the staff of the school have distributed free exercise Books to students in the school as part of efforts to improve teaching and learning in the area.

Mr Aglago said, the distribution very paramount in this economic crisis as some children come to school without Books to their exercise which in effect contribute to the low performance of students in their studies thus something which is inimical to the progress of education in the area.

He stressed that education is key in changing society, hence his topmost priority to ensure that the students in the school secure better future.

According to him, he felt disheartened anytime he sees most of his students sitting idle in class due to lack of Books when class exercise is in session.

He added that, exercise book plays a very pivotal role when it comes to teaching and learning. This is because when a teacher gives a class work, assignment or exercise the child needs exercise book to write in thus this has relieved the burden of parents for the children to come to school and study without hindrance.

The exercise Books were distributed from Bs1 through to Junior High School 3 with each student receiving 8 exercise Books.

He reiterated that, all students regardless of their life circumstances, deserve good and quality education that will propel them to reach high standards of performance in his/ her studies.

One of the surest ways to unlocking that potential in students is ensuring that he or she is embraced with a culture of high expectations and learn from great teachers in a great school run by great teachers and staff” he stressed

He heaped praises on friends family and philanthropist who came to extend their benevolence to the school to distribute the exercise Books to the students.

He also used the opportunity to thank many kind hearted individuals like madam charity Amenu, Mr Madison Adenusa who is the NDC Parliamentary Aspirant for Gomoa Central, not forgetting Mr Munifi the Cheif Executive Officer (C.E.O) of Voltic Cool for thier humanitarian services.

He called on individuals, cooperate bodies and philanthropists within the community to also extend their assistance in helping the students with learning materials to aid the teaching and learning in school.
