Inspector General of the Ghana Police Service James Oppong-Boanuh has in a statement announced that his men along with the military and other security personnel would be dispatching people into town ahead of the swearing in of the president of the Republic of Ghana.
According to him each person considered important and prominent would be given special protection on the day to avoid any unexpected issues that could befall them on the day of the event.
He further stated that the entire State House Complex; Accra International Conference Centre; Accra Sports Stadium and the Black Star Square would all be heavily guarded to avoid any sort of issues.
The president-elect Nana AKufo-Addo would be sworn in as president on 7 December 2021 and promises to be a very captivating incident that would take place at the parliament house.
