HON. DUKER CUTS SOD FOR NSUAEM ASTROTURF PROJECT
On Monday, July 1, 2024, together with the Municipal Chief Executive, Party faithful, Chiefs and good people of Nsuaem, Honourable George Mireku Duker, Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency who double as the deputy minister for Lands and Natural resources in-charge of Mines, cuts sod for the commencement of the construction of a new Astroturf for the Nsuaem Community.
When completed and commissioned for use in October 2024, this will be the fifth (5th) Astroturf he facilitated and completed in less than eight (8) years as a Member of Parliament in the Tarkwa-Nsuaem Constituency.
Together with the US$16 million Re-constructed TnA park he facilitated, Tarkwa will not be associated with gold mining only in the future but will become a known key sports development centre in Ghana, with the potential of developing talents and propelling socio-economic growth.
In less than 8 years, and with the support of his government, he has completed an ultra-modern 48-bed hospital and 6-unit classroom block for the community, which have been commissioned and are in use.
The new Nsuaem Senior High School, which I conceived in 2018, is almost completed, and their inner-town roads is the next target to complete.
The chiefs, youth groups, and general good people of Nsuaem commended his effort as an MP.
They prayed for his successful re-election, which they will commit to as a communal responsibility.
