The deputy minister for Lands and Natural resources in-charge of mines, who doubles as the Member of Parliament for the Tarkwa Nsuaem constituency, Honourable George Mireku Duker had the honor to spend some time engaging with the hardworking market women at the Tarkwa Main Market.
This interaction provided invaluable insights into their daily challenges and the opportunities that can be harnessed to improve their businesses.
Their feedback according to the member of parliament, will be instrumental in shaping policies that directly benefit the market community.
The member of Parliament also took the advantage to inaugurate his electoral area campaign teams which is a crucial step as part of NPP’s broader strategy to enhance grassroots mobilization and ensure that every community member is involved towards consolidating their gains to victory.
“The enthusiasm and commitment displayed by the team members were truly inspiring, and I am confident that together, we will break the 8” Hon. Dukar hinted.
He later had engagement with the Dagomba community and presented his vision to them and addressed some concerns raised.
They explored ways to promote cultural integration and support community-driven initiatives that enhance social cohesion and economic development.
