How Bole chief was shot dead by assailants while watching TV

Brother of murdered chief of Tinga in the Bole District in the Savannah region, Issah Bala, has revealed how his brother was shot dead by some unknown assailants.

Speaking exclusively on Adom FM’s morning show Dwaso Nsem on Monday, he said his brother, Francis Tipoe, was shot while watching television in his room.

He noted that the unknown assailants shot into his glass window, hitting and killing him instantly.

“The gunmen shot through the window, initially we thought he had shot himself till we later realised that he had been shot through the window,” he narrated.

“My brother had just finished eating and had just retired to bed when he was killed,” he added.

He further revealed that the deceased was robbed of nothing, wondering what could have triggered his killing.

The police, according to him, have commenced investigations into the murder.

The deceased, murdered on Saturday evening December 7, 2019, was buried Monday Morning in accordance with the customs of the Islamic faith.
