I’d rather listen to Bob Okala than Agyinasare – Owusu Bempah

The Founder and Leader of the Glorious Word Power Ministry International, Rev. Isaac Owusu Bempah, on Wednesday left listeners of Starr FM absolutely thunderstruck when he said he would prefer listening to the late comedian Bob Okala to his fellow preacher Bishop Charles Agyinasare.

Samuel Kwadwo Boaben popularly known as Bishop Bob Okala, was a famous Ghanaian comedian and actor popular for the comic roles he played on national TV’s Key Soap Concert Party. He died in 2016.

Speaking on award-winning personality profile show Starr Chat, Rev. Bempah said Bishop Agyinasare’s preaching are uninspiring and rather leaves him heartbroken than uplifting his soul.

“I would rather listen to Bob Okala than Agyinasare,” the controversial prophet told show host Bola Ray.

“He won’t inspire me,” Bempah stressed, adding the leader of Perez Chapel’s “preaching will dampen my spirit.”

“The other comedian Lil Win I’d rather listen to him too,” Rev. Bempah told a completely stunned Bola Ray.

Bishop Agyinasare is on record to have said that a prophecy Rev Bempah had given about former President John Mahama could not have come from God.

“I don’t know if he [Agyinasare] is a man of God, but Eastwood Anaba is,” Bempah, a pro-New Patriotic Party preacher emphasized, but was quick to add that: “I don’t have a problem with him but his ministry does not inspire me.”

The assertive preacher noted he would always listen to the sermons of other religious heavyweights like Archbishop Nicholas Duncan Williams and Pastor Mensa Otabil anytime he feels like being inspired.
