I’m not ready for the GFA Technical Director role – Abdul Razak

Former Ghana and Asante Kotoko legend, Abdul Razak popularly known as “Golden boy” says he is not ready to take up the role of a Technical Director at this stage of his coaching career.

The Ghana Football Association has open for people to apply for the Technical Director role after Francis Oti Akenteng left the position.

Abdul Razak was quizzed on why he is yet to apply for the GFA Technical Director job.

In his response to why he hasn’t applied for the job he said, “I am not interested in becoming the Technical Director at this moment. I am still available and interested in the field”.

“For the moment I don’t think I am ready for that role. I had that same offer at Asante Kotoko but I rejected it”, he added.

Abdul Karim Razak, recently parted ways with with Togo’s Etoile Filante, citing management interference in player selection as the main reason for his departure.
