Incorruptible Akufo-Addo performing very well – Fmr NDC National Vice-Chair confesses

Contrary to the impression created by some members of the opposition National Democratic Congress(NDC) that President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo is corrupt, a former National Executive of the party disagrees.

Business woman and Former National First Vice Chairperson of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), Juliet Hilda Salifu affectionately called Madam Bolco has defended the incorruptibility of the President.

Though she indicated that same cannot be said about his appointees, she vouched for the incorruptible nature of Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo out of government and in government.

Speaking in an interview with Bolgatanga-based A1 Radio monitored by MyNewsGh.com, Madam Bolco did not mince words in describing Akufo-Addo as a man of principles who would not stoop so low to be corrupted.

“Nana is not corrupt, the followers who later-on followed him without a pesewa, they became corrupt; and they are corrupt in government now.” She indicated.

She also commended the Akufo-Addo government for performing well within the first time expressing hope that they can do better in their second term if offered another opportunity by Ghanaians.

“His performance is okay just that he has got wrong followers; some of his ministers are bad. I don’t have to mention their names to you. They are grabbing; they are just grabbing. Nana is doing well but his followers are bad.” She stressed.
