It is not true that I beg for food – Kotoko’s Imoro Ibrahim

Asante Kotoko defender Ibrahim Imoro says claims by the founder of Division two club Thunder FC that he relies on his teammates to survive in Kumasi are not true.

Alhaji Abdulai Nash is quoted to have said Imoro who joined Kotoko from Thunder FC last December has not received any money from the club, hence his dire situation of begging for food to survive

He added that Kotoko had refused to pay Imoro’s signing on fee and his outfit are planning to drag the Porcupine Warriors to Fifa.

Meanwhile, Imoro has denied the claim that he relies on his Kotoko teammates to survive and at times begs for food to eat.

“The news that I beg for food in Kumasi to survive is not true,” he said.

“How can someone play for one of the biggest clubs in Ghana and be begging for food? He asked.

Imoro Ibrahim joined Kotoko from Thunder FC last December after signing a four-year deal.
