I’ve schizophrenia – Date Rush’s Joan confirms mental disorder

TV3’s Date Rush’s Joan has confirmed that she has a mental disorder as was widely speculated.

After her episode on Date Rush there were reports that the contestant had a mental disorder which was developed as a result of her drug addiction.

The reports suggested that her drug addiction led to her deportation from the United States of America by her parents who got worried their daughter will be destroyed.

Other reports also suggested that she never had any condition and that the early reports were false and an attempt to dent her image.

But speaking at the Date Rush reunion, Joan confirmed her situation saying “I’ve Schizophrenia”.

On whether she had been deported from the United States of America, she indicated that she has never traveled to warrant any deportation by her parents

She said her accent was locally acquired and that claims that she lived outside the country before were false.
