Jerome Boateng fined for flouting COVID-19 rules

German football giants, Bayern Munich, have released a statement saying that German defender, Jerome Boateng has been fined.

The fine according to the club is because the defender has flouted covid-19 rules set by the German government and the club.

According to the club, Jerome left the city without permission to visit his son which goes against the rules set by the club for its players.

Jerome had an accident on his way back into the city which gave away his actions to world.

The club said in a statement, “Bayern defender Jerome Boateng left Munich yesterday without permission from the club.

“Boateng has transgressed the guidelines issued by the club by being too far away from his home.

“These guidelines govern the behavior of the FC Bayern players in the current situation in line with government directives on restrictions on movement and the recommendations of the health authorities.”

The amount is however going to be donated tp local hospitals to help fight the disease.
