Joana Gyan-Cudjoe Seeks Re-Election in Amenfi Central NDC Primary

Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, a dedicated parliamentary aspirant for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Amenfi Central Constituency, has announced her intention to contest the party’s primary again. This decision comes after the party’s Functional Executive Committee (FEC) annulled the previous primary held on May 13, 2023.

Prior to the annulment, the Sekondi High Court had placed a restraining order on Joana Gyan-Cudjoe, preventing her from presenting herself as the Parliamentary Candidate (PC) for the constituency. This court order was granted at the request of five NDC members in the constituency.

Undeterred, Joana Gyan-Cudjoe remains committed to her vision for progress, development, and empowerment in Amenfi Central. In a statement issued on September 5, she emphasized the need for unity and support to achieve this vision. She pledged to continue advocating for improved education, infrastructure, healthcare, and economic opportunities that will benefit every corner of the constituency.

Joana Gyan-Cudjoe humbly requests the support of all stakeholders, including youth, women, men, elders, and community members, to make this vision a reality. She believes that together, they can overcome challenges and create lasting change that benefits the entire community.

Aspirants are expected to pick up nomination forms from the office of the deputy general secretary in charge of administration and finance on Friday, September 6, 2024. The primaries will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2024.
