John Mahama Heads to Agona West: Friday, Nov 8

John Mahama, Ghana’s opposition leader and former president, is set to visit Agona Swedru on Friday, November 8, 2024, at the Main Lorry Station. This highly anticipated event is part of the National Democratic Congress’s (NDC) campaign to “reset Ghana” for jobs, accountability, and prosperity.

Hosted by NDC’s parliamentary candidate, Ernestina Ofori Dangbey, Mahama’s visit aims to highlight key aspects of the NDC’s transformative manifesto. The event will focus on initiatives directly impacting Ghanaians’ lives, including the establishment of Farmers Centers, the 24-Hour Economy, Women’s Development Bank, Free Primary Healthcare, National Apprenticeship Program, Free Tertiary Education, and a Modern ICT Center.

Mahama has previously visited other regions, such as Bawku in the Upper East region, where he promised to ensure peace and build a modern hospital. His upcoming visit to Agona Swedru is expected to draw significant attention, with the NDC urging supporters and locals to give him a warm welcome.

The visit is not just a campaign event but an opportunity to reaffirm the collective commitment to resetting Ghana. Mahama and the NDC are working towards victory on December 7th, and this event is crucial in showcasing their vision for a brighter future.

The event is expected to have a considerable impact on the local community, and Mahama’s presence will likely resonate with residents.

As the NDC rallies support for Mahama, this visit marks a crucial moment in Ghana’s political landscape. With the December 7th elections looming, Mahama’s message of jobs, accountability, and prosperity is likely to resonate with voters.
